Gateway unveils ID47, NV57 and NV55 laptops with Intel and AMD chips

Gateway has refreshed its NV and ID series laptops. The new Gateway NV laptops feature latest processors from Intel and AMD. While the Gateway NV57 has Intel's latest Sandy Bridge Core i series processors, the NV55 sports AMD Fusion Llano APUs (Accelerated Processing Units).
What makes the Gateway ID47 interesting are its aluminum body and unique display technology. The notebook has a 14 inch display with an extremely thin bezel. Gateway says that its chassis is no bigger than the chassis of a 13.3 inch laptop. The ID47 features Intel's Sandy Bridge processors. It is available in 'Blue Liquid' of 'Brushed Platinum' design.

Both Gateway NV and ID series laptops have USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output ports and 1366 x 768 pixels displays.
